This cache is one of two hidden by us in Hickory Creek Forest Preserve, where we often go to take walks or bike rides. This is the more difficult of the two as it is farther off marked trails and can require bushwhacking.

This was originally a "cache factory". The cache contained several smaller containers that contained logbooks and pencils, as well as trading items. The hope was that other cachers would hide them, creating more caches in the area. As we never saw a single one get that far, we've made this a normal cache.

  1. This geocache is placed on Will County Forest Preserve property with permission.
  2. Cachers are only permitted to search for caches during normal preserve hours:
    • April - October 8 AM - 8 PM
    • November - March 8 AM - 5 PM
  3. All Will County Forest Preserve rules apply.
