Geocache Description:

We just can’t forget Jessica, a.k.a. COOL LIBRARIAN, one of Bristol’s finest cachers. So we have put a cache back in her old stomping grounds on the shores of Church Cove on Mount Hope Farm. Maybe this will lure her back for a quick run on some of the latest Bristol caches. We raise our glasses. Cheers! Salute! Slainte! Sante! Prost! Salud! Skal! Kippis! And many more!

The cache is very close to the old location of one of Cool Librarian’s shoreline gems. The cache is a small, clear plastic, sealable container that initially has a log book & pencil, 4 State Quarters & some gold coins & jewels from Capt. Black Jack Starling’s RI treasure (see GC11F3H and nearby GC11V6Q). The Difficulty Rating has been kept low, so as not to attract muggles. While you are filling in the log, be sure to sit for a spell and enjoy one of Bristol’s best panoramas.

Also, using some of Jessica’s original directions & descriptions:
Please note that you CANNOT drive directly to this cache! Mount Hope Farm in Bristol, RI. is open to foot traffic only. However, plenty of parking is available at the SOUTH entrance to the farm.

Please visit their website for directions and open hours, (visit link)

The terrain in is a 1, but the cache site is a 2.

Mount Hope Farm is a beautiful piece of historic property that covers more than 200 acres. The main "trail" is wide and paved - great for walking, running, biking, strollers. Dogs, leashed, are also allowed. There are woodland trails throughout the property as well. With snow on the ground, skiing or snow shoeing would be great. However, the cache site has tricky footing, and a fall could be ugly in icy conditions.

This cache is located close to the main trail and is about a mile walk from parking, give or take - have a seat and look out at the Mount Hope Bridge. Continue on to the cabin - you are welcome to look around. If gate near cabin is closed due to a function at the cabin, you can still access the cache.

A "two-fingered V" and one of Jessica's traditional "Peace" closings go to N1EMQ for their FTF. Congrats!
