Geocache Description:

Kurama is famous for the Kurama-Dera Temple which was built around the whole mountain of Kurama-Yama.

This cache constitute a part of KURAMA-KIBUNE chache series. Take the EIDEN train from the Demachiyanagi Station, you will arrive at Kurama Station, a gate way for the KURAMA-KIBUNE tour. On the way to KURAMA on the train, you have already seen beautiful country-taste sceneries. Yes, this is a place you can experience ancient air. The whole tour from KURAMA to KIBUNE will take several hours and it is quite refreshing and joyful. The hiking trails are well maintained but proper outfits are advised to wear. Let's bring your family and friends with lunch boxes! Because of the nature of geographic features of this area, GPS satellites may not be captured well. Here is the instruction to find the cache. Go out of the station and walk straight ahead. Soon, you will find a big billboard next to a telephone box on your right. A cache is hidden at a lower corner of the billboard. --------------------- Note Added 2011.07.18 The cache was reinstalled at a place completely out of the station.
