Technisches Denkmal in Mecklenburg, erbaut 1828.
Die Schleuse "Wiegel" ist eigentlich gar keine Schleuse, sondern eines von drei Deichsielen südöstlich von Boizenburg in der Elbmarsch. Die Elbmarsch wird gerne als Naherholungsgebiet genutzt und bei jedem Wetter sind Erholungs- und Angler-Muggel unterwegs.
Leider ist dieses 1828 erbaute Siel bei einer Totalsanierung 2001 für 190.000 DM mit neuen Steinen und groben Geländern entstellt worden.
Der Cache zeigt sich nicht auf den ersten Blick und ist in Hüfthöhe verbaut.
Achtung: Der direkte Weg zum Cache GC2JT8Y ist sehr schlecht und besser nur mit SUV befahrbar.

Technical monument in Mecklenburg, built 1828.
The sluice "Wiegel" is not really a sluice but one out of three tidal outlets southeast of Boizenburg in the Elbmarsch. The Elbmarsch is a preffered Recreationarea, which is frequently used by Tourist- and Fisherman-Muggles at any weather.
Unfortunately this tidal outlet from 1828 has been unfavorable reconstructed in 2001 with new stones and crude handrails for 190.000 DM.
The cache is not visable on first sight and is built in at hight of hip.
Attention: the direct way to next cache GC2JT8Y is only good for SUV.
