This is one of a series of caches created for the purpose of introducing geocachers to the rich history, the extensive path network and the general scenic beauty of the Irvine Valley.
Park in the small hamlet of Priestland and head south along the single track road. Enter the woodland at the waymarker before the bridge.
This woodland trail is part of a much longer walk called The Long Cairn. It runs parallel with the Gower Burn which is an early tributary of the River Irvine.
