Located at this Historic C&O Canal Location you can Camp in the primitive Campground, Picnic at the available tables, Hike, Bike or Run along the Canal or bring along your boat and enter the Potomac River.
Also located nearby is this Historical Marker
You will locate this marker at the following coordinates
N 39° 36.536 W 077° 58.204, along the C&O Canal
Now for the cache Search
You will locate this Small Sized Cache, A small hidden in a slightly larger container outside of The McCoy’s Ferry area of the C&O Canal. Within walking distance from the Picnic area or along the Canal for easy access to those enjoying this area.
Following the coordinates will lead you to a gravel turn around location making it accessible at any time.
Due to its location muggle traffic should be almost non existent but be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Cache is stocked with a Log, Stash Note and a writing utensil
Please make sure that you return the cache to its hiding location as found and be sure the door is closed and latched.
