Geocache Description:

A cache is hidden near a pond called Houjou-ike.

Entering Kurama-Dera Temple entrance, take the winding slope pathway. On the way to Yuki-Jinja Shrine, you will find the Houjou-ike Pond on your right.

Houjou means to release captured creatures alive to save their lives. ---- It was said that monks underwent spiritual training being beaten under the water fall after releasing turtles and fishes to this pond.

A cache is hidden at a big tree in front of the pond.
