Geocache Description:

Woodseaves is a village on the A519 road between Newport and Eccleshall. I've lived here all of my life (barring 4 years of University), and I've laid this multicache which features a walk around pretty much the whole village.

Follow the stages in order, answer the questions, and the answers will lead you to the final cache.

I recommend parking in the centre of the village, near the listed co-ordinates, preferably off the main road. There are no public car parks, so road-side parking away from the main road is usually best. Alternatively, you could park at one of the two pubs, if you are planning to pop in for a bite to eat or a drink.

Enjoy!

Example: The answer to a question is 47. If the answer translates to AB, A=4 and B=7.

From wherever you parked, walk to stage 1.

Stage 1 (start): N 52.49.326 W 02.18.216
Look South-East. There is a blue sign at the entrance to Lodge Lane. How many letters are on this blue sign? Answer = AB.

Stage 2: N 52.49.(B-A)71 W 02.18.1A7
There is a pub at this location. How many letters in total are in the two-word name of the pub? Answer = C.

Stage 5: N 52.49.BDE W 02.17.8AE
Looking West up the road, you'll see a give way sign indicating how far it is to the junction. How many yards is it away? Answer = FGH

Stage 6: N 52.49.EDE W 02.18.GEB
Underneath the post box is a sign indicating the range of house numbers (lowest to highest) covered in that area. Which numbers are listed? Answer = IJ to KL
