RoobyDoo: I checked on the cache today... Sadly it had been muggled.
Given that this area has very high muggle activity, perhaps not surprising..
I did consider replacing, but this one has been muggled at least four times, which I've replaced and relocated each time, so after over nine years, I'm afraid I'm going to let it go..

Geocache Description:

An eleven cache RD series over approximately 3.5 miles taking you around Red Down and Hampton Hill, to the South West of Highworth. The series is a straight 'Traditional' Series, so no need to find any clues for bonuses. I did think about calling them RD... which works perfectly

, but I loved 'Red Down' even more! This cache is along a pathway which leads to a park and onto the golf course. It can be busy along this path, so keep your eyes open! This series was conceived to coincide with my Pre Xmas Bash Event held at the Freke Arms in 2009.
Suggested parking can be found at N51 37.783 W001 42.845, or alternatively at the Cemetery (N51 37.710 W001 43.266), where you can start at a different stage of the series. Also, you can park at Highworth Football Club. There are a number of kissing gates, stiles and a brief encounter with a road.
