Geocache Description:

The owl is watching!

Wincanton is a small market town lying just north of the A303. Wincanton is also close to many delightful villages and places of interest such as the Abbey Town of Sherborne, the Cathedral City of Salisbury and the ancient hilltop Town of Shaftesbury. Wincanton is also known for its Racecourse.

From the town centre proceed up the hill towards Bayford, take the second turning on the right into Common Road. Take the second turning on the left into Balsam Lane where the cache will be found after approx 100m.

The white cottage is 'For Sale'
