Geocache Description:

Part of the Black Friday Ammo-can-apalooza bunch o'hides. A shout out to DevildogLT for his generous gift of ammo cans and for his faithful service to our country. Thanks!

Let's face it, trails in Vista are a letdown. Vista is flanked by Carlsbad and San Marcos, cities that seem to try and outdo one another with high quality trail systems.

One day Mr. FTF (dougandsuzy) and I happened to find ourselves in the presence of Vista's chief of Parks and Recreation. I complained about the weak trails in Vista compared to the surrounding north county cities. He mentioned this trail system: the Vista Sewer Trail that runs through the business park. OK, so if this is as good as it is going to get, then put a kiosk here. Map it, make it more inviting, and open up the parking in the lot up here.

Note: to access the main trail (AzCaCacher's cache series down there is pretty good and recommended), take the trail on the right with the yellow gate. Taking the other trail is a dead end at the telephone pole.
