When I was a kid, my weekly allowance was a quarter - lucky for me, the exact cover price of a comic book. Every weekend I walked down to the 7-11 and bought the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and would go random the next couple of weeks. Maybe Avengers, Marvel Team-up, or a new series starting at #1. My favorite character was The Thing. "It's Clobberin' Time!"
Despite the concerns from adults that comics would "rot my brain," my folks didn't mind, and actually encouraged me. Made a better reader out of me in the end. These days kids don't read comics, but they know all the characters from movies, video games, and cartoons.
This cache is located on a bizarre trail that will afford a view of the ocean and the Vista Business Park. The container is an ammo can loaded with comic book heroes.
