Situated close to the village of Doveridge on the road to Somersal Herbert. Parking close to the cache.
The name of the cache relates to the Cross, believed to date back as far as the 13th century situated in Saint Peters Churchyard in the village of Somersal Herbert. The Village contains only a sprinkling of houses, a Church and Somersal Hall a fine example of an Elizabethan building.
The cache is a small black pot which contains a logbook and pencil.
