McKitten's little buddy, Cougar (AKA Coug), loves Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park sooo much, that he thought it would be a grrrrrrrreat idea to have a puzzle cache honoring the very animals this park is named after! Why Coug, what a truly fantasic idea!!!!!
So, cachers, to find this cache, you must do a little "cougar work" prior to finding this one. The posted coordinates are for parking. To get the actual coordinates, you must answer the following questions:
The cougar is from what family? (number of letters in the word) = A
What kind of predator is the cougar? (number of words) = B
The cougar's primary food source comes from this group of animals which includes deer, elk, moose and big horn sheep? (number of letters in the name of the group of animals) = C
How many other predators compete with the cougar for its prey? (number of animals) = D
The cougar is also known as? (number of different names) = E
The only unequivocally known population of large cat east of the Mississippi River is named after this eastern state? (number of letters in the name of the state)= F
Now complete the following coordinates with the answers obtained from the questions above:
N47 32.(A-5)(B-1)C
W122 0(D+3).0 (E-1) F
Coug says this cache should be easy to find. You need to take only a step off of the trail to obtain this cache. The cache is bigger than any mico or lock in lock, but is smaller than an ammo can. The FTF is a couple of "Georges" Good luck seekers!
CONGRATS TO TOBIAS AND PETRONELLA FOR THE FTF!
