The Series is a chance to get to know the greenspaces dotted around Medway. Some have some history attached, others just a green area for local children to play and to walk a dog around.
If you want to expand this series please contact Mizmazmoz so we can keep track of the numbers and names to avoid duplication.
The caches will not be put directly next to playgrounds.
The next instalment of the Medway Green space series concentrates on the band of chalk grassland splitting Chatham and Luton.
These banks were once part of the great defences to surround Chatham. With Fort Horstead and Fort Luton sited at the top of the banks.
All 6 of these caches can be done on a walk of about 2 hours (this includes hunting time).
Coney and daisy banks are an area of chalk grassland, which are popular for locals as a dog walking site.
The cache is placed half way down the bank. At time of placing there had been a lot of scrub clearance. It maybe harder to get to the cache in spring and summer.
You are looking for a small Tupperware style box.
