SkyCricket: Archiving.... CO caching the country.

This was a great run... Enjoyed all the logs, well most.
I have decided to disable this listing. I hope some cacher will pick this spot in the future.

Geocache Description:

There is ample parking, and it is a family friendly site. If you have extra time, be sure to look to the North as well!

This interesting landmark served as the central reporting station for the Tulsa Fire Department. Fires were reported from alarm boxes placed around the city and waiting firemen would alert the nearest station. Designed by Frederick V. Kershner in the style of a Mayan temple, the large frieze over the front door has a male figure holding a Gamewell alarm tape (part of the first alarm system used in this building). At the time of its construction in 1931 this system was the best available alarm system.
