A small cache hidden near a waterfall. Easy walk over once you cross the stream.
The Buttermilk Falls Cache is hidden in a scenic area that contains 3 waterfalls. The small stream flows above the first falls and then abruptly turns left and drops about 20 feet over a ledge. Further down stream there is a smaller 6 foot drop, and then a 30 foot cascade further down. Use caution if you travel down stream as there are sheer drop-offs into a ravine. The cache is a small lock-n-lock container hidden above the upper waterfall just off of a trail. You have to cross the stream(please cross up stream from the upper falls). There are a couple of trade items as well as a coin for the FTF! There is roadside parking at a large pull-off on Buttermilk Falls Road.
