Geocache Description:

Yes! Your eyes do not deceive you. At last I have found View XIV and it is an especially nice spot.

You may have noticed, if you cache by day, that View VII didn't exactly have a view of Camels Hump, yet it did. As you will see at View XIV, that's the case again here.

And you may also know that I am interested in the way buildings are reused, recycled, and repurposed. For this impressionistic view, you will visit a building that is serving its community in a new way.

I strongly suggest that you seek this cache Sunday 12-5; Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday 10-6; or Friday 10-2 so that you can see the inside of this wonderful building and two of its three historic painted theater curtains. (The other is furled to protect it from fading.)

Stealth is required, but not to conceal the presence of the cache from the proprietor, who welcomed the cache, believing that it sounded like fun. I'm sure she will be happy to tell you more about the conversion of the building and the curtains painted by Charles Washington Henry. Your stealth skills will need to be deployed so that you feel slightly less silly seeking this cache.

Hurry and get it while it is hot, or at least unseasonably warm. This cache is definitely not winter friendly.

Original contents included three books, all travel memoirs. It would be great if you brought a book to trade.

See related web page for more about Vermont's painted stage curtains.

Buttercup.
Black sheep dwell in every fold;
All that glitters is not gold;
Storks turn out to be but logs;
Bulls are but inflated frogs.

Captain. (puzzled)
So they be,
Frequentlee.

Congratulations to chrisnic for being FTF.
