Attention
The coordinates of this page are fake. To find the cache you need to solve the problem that you will find below in the listing.
"Professor Layton" is the main character of a serie of games for the NDS platform. They are designed to tell mysterious adventures of this very skillfull quiz solver. In order to finish the game, the player must solve all the quizzes, with different difficulty level. The quiz are discovered during the game.
This serie of caches is freely inspired to this character. As it happens in the games, you will be action Professor Layton and you will be asked to solve quizzes in order to get to the final cache.
In the next future will be created a "bonus cache" for all the geocachers that will be able to solve all the caches that belong to this serie.
Hello Prof. Layton, I'm happy to see you again.
What you see below is a "
virtual map" of the city of Milan.
Your mission is to find the path inside this map that takes you from the starting point (marked with START) to the ending point (marked with EMD)
collecting as much colored dots you can.
The only
rule that you must follow is that you are
not allowed do pass twice in the same piece of road.
Once you reach the final point, you must count all the dots you have collected and do the necessary substitution following these simple information:
A = number of collected yellow dots
B = number of collected green dots
C = number of collected cyan dots
D = number of not-collected yellow dots
E = number of not-collected green dots
F = number of not-collected cyan dots
N 45° 28. (((A + C) * 10) + E) - E 09° 12. ((D * 100) + (F * 10) + B)
Well, professor, since you have asked for it, let me give you a hint: in the longest path you will not collect 8 dots!
Notes regarding the cache
We are talking of a very small plastic container, with black tape around, magnetic. It contains the micro logbook only. As often happens in Milan, in that point the singnal is quite weak and the area can be crowded. We please you to pay extra attention when you pick the cache up and when you put it back.
It is not necessarily to say put it back in the same position you have found it.
Have fun and... we hope you'll enjoy this cache!
