Geocache Description:




The PMC2 is a series of fiendishly difficult puzzle created by 18 of the best Puzzle Masters in the Mid-Atlantic Region. In each of these caches you will find a user name and password. After you enter each user name and password into the site listed below, you will be taken to a page with a short puzzle and ultimately a final puzzle piece. Assemble these pieces and find the final cache!

This series is designed to lead you on an epic adventure that will require Master puzzle-solving skills and extensive travel to unique locations. You must travel and log in at each cache in order to claim a find on the final. Due to the extensive time and effort put into this challenge, the cache can be done as a group but each member of the group must go to each cache site and sign each log. Dividing into sub groups and pooling their efforts will not be allowed.

All 18 caches will be released sporadically between now and the EVENT to be held in June. To make them easy to find we have created a WEBSITE that will have a complete list of all the available PMC caches in all 4 series as they are published.
Technical Note (12/2015): Some modern browsers now have trouble with the game at the initial space bar start.
Here is what I know as a guide to help you identify what works. If you still have trouble, don't hesitate to ping me.
- Chrome (XP) works
- IE 8 (XP) works.
- IE 10 (Windows 7) in Compatibility Mode works.
- Firefox 39 and 41 (XP) do not work. I do not expect future Firefox versions to work.
- I have not tested mac browsers lately, though Safari on the iPhone works. I do not recommend using an iPhone as that would be painful. Maybe an iPad? To each their own.

Please Note: The final cache is hidden near Centralia, PA, the site of a long-burning underground mine fire. You will encounter some smoke plumes along the way and may detect some foul odors near those vents. While the 2 mile RT hike for this cache is [mostly] along well established and safe trails, please use caution and common sense while exploring the area. Do enjoy the other caches in and around town, visit the abandoned "Graffiti Highway" to the south and pay your respects to what is left of Centralia and Byrnesville.
A couple of neat books about the history of these ghost towns are waiting in the cache for the first two finders. Please take only one:
