This cache is in a clear cylindrical container about 10 inches long with a 4 inch diameter opening. The hike to the cache is approximately 1.5 miles, virtually all uphill. The cache is located about 100 feet off of the trail.
Who doesn’t like flags? They’re colorful and each has its own history. This cache is filled with several different flags and waiting for you to add your favorite. At the time this cache was hidden it contained flags from the following places:
- United States (1 flag, 2 pins)
- California
- England
- France
- Ireland
- Japan (Circa WWII)
This cache also contains a logbook and ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
As always when hiking in the East Bay Hills, look out for rattlesnakes.
