Truck and RV
Friendly!
The JOE cache series was started by altosaxplayer, a
member of the Tri-Cities Geocachers. The name JOE means "Just Off
Exit".
This series was started as an Interstate 70 equivalent to the "Loop
to Loop" and I-81 cache series that was started in Nashville TN by
cgeek.
The JOE caches are placed no more than two tenths of a mile from
the exit and the hint is a dead give away to the cache location.
JOE caches are an easy way to pick up more cache finds while
traveling.
This will be Number One of our Maryland I 70 JOE series.
When planning our trips we always struggle with which caches really
will be quick grabs and which may end as disasters and getting lost
in an unfamiliar city.
This cache is meant as a quick grab for those traveling through the
area and a nice fast smiley for those that already live here.
Copied from VWDave's caches in VA and scrubjsm
Now for the cache search . .
.
This cache is ** TRUCKER and RV FRIENDLY**, so
the next time your near Exit 12 along I-70 take the Exit and locate
this Quick cache and dash. Plenty of Parking for that Big Rig at
this Stop, as well as RV possibilities.
You will find this Micro sized cache along South side of I 70,
easily accessed from the East Bound side but accessible from either
direction. It's a quick grab not far from the highway, and easy to
get right back on afterwards.
It’s also a Great opportunity to get out and stretch, Fill up
the Cacher or the Cache Retrieval Vehicle to get you down the road
to that next cache. While your here check out everything
available.
This very busy location will require Stealth, accessed from either
level there can be Muggles coming from all directions.
Cache size does not allow for a writing utensil so BYOP
Stealth will be high priority while locating this cache. Take your
time, locate the cache and then make the grab.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS INSIDE THE CONTAINER WHEN REPLACING
THE CACHE !!
** Congratulations to jon&laurs for their very first
