Geocache Description:

The totem pole and the cat graveyard are two of the coolest sites in UCSC. The UCSC students like to put random, awesome stuff in the woods.

This is a very cool sight. There is a totem pole on a tree and a shrine for cats. With that is a box where people can write their cat story's.

This location is creepy and would be an awesome place at night-although you might run into college students doing some weird voodoo ritual.

The cache:
The cache is just a short hike away but to obtain the coordinates you will have to visit the listed coordinates. Now count the number of carved/painted figures on the totem pole.

Let this number equal X.

Now the actual cache is at N 37 00.ABC, W 122 03.DEF

A= X minus 2
B=X minus 5
C=X minus 2

D=X minus 1
E=X minus 3
F=X minus 6

Check sum for all north: 22, Check sum for all west: 19.

The cache is a nut jar just off the fire road. It is stalked with log, pen and goodies. The camouflage is courtesy nodrogenus and the container is courtesy Super Pig.
