"Cache to Eagle" hides in Burke County dedicated to Boy Scout Eagle
projects...
2010 is the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. As
part of the celebration, BSA has set a goal to place 12 caches,
(one for each point of the Scout Law), in every district and in
every council in the country. Burke County is in the Tablerock
District of the Piedmont Council. Eagle Scout is the highest rank
in Boy Scouting. In addition to earning 21 merit badges, being an
active and loyal member of his troop and participating in many
hours of service work, the scout must demonstrate leadership in
planning and bringing to completion a project that will benefit his
community, school, church, etc.
**about the project...…
Over the summer and fall of 2006, scouts from Troop 184 dedicated
many hours of labor to design and construct an outdoor classromm
area for Christ United Methodist Church. Work included clearing
trees from the area and installing benches.
***Now, about the cache…
You are looking for a small lock-n-lock box containing a logbook, a
pen and a few trade items. The cache is hidden within the general
area of the Eagle project. You should have plenty of privacy here.
Enjoy the solitude courtesy of Troop 184 Boy Scouts.
ENJOY!!!
