2/5/2013 Update: Today, Wife LC and I went out on the trail with our Schipperke dog Little Bear and changed the container and hide style. No bushwhacking required whatsoever. Enjoy!
2/5/2013: We put a bunch of little items in the cache for the kiddies or for you to place in other caches: a micro superball, a pair of dice, a couple kiddie rings, a mini clothespin, a little lady beetle ceramic, a dinosaur, a frog, a U.S. flag pin, a Bass Pro Shop Manteca Thresher Shark smashed penny, a Lake Tahoe paddlewheel smashed penny. and three of our little finger skateboards.

Wife LC and I placed this cache on the Guadalupe River Trail while out on a Thanksgiving day walk with our Schipperke dog Little Bear. We just reached the milestone of 100 cache finds and were sooooooo overdue in placing one of our own.
We entered the trail from the down ramp at Blossom Hill Road and Blossom River Drive, but it looks like there are several other ways you can get onto the Trail depending on how far you want to walk or bike. You can enter it from the north at the dead end of Chynoweth west of Winfield or the south end of Cilker Park that runs along Winfield. From further south, there is also an entrance at the Almaden Light Rail Station where you travel north and go under Blossom Hill Road.
There are some items in the cache to get it started - a clip-on watch, Go Fish card game, pedometer, pencil sharpener, happy face magnet, small plastic football, a matchbox-type silver car, and a little rubber dolphin.
