Geocache Description:

Don't miss the views of the Mighty Mississippi! Cache elevation is about 998'. Hours are 8am until sunset.

While the leaves are out you may find your gpsr jumping quite a bit throughout the wooded area where this cache is hidden. You may also find it difficult in the fall when the leaves hide the trail and make it slippery. While you're in town you'll want to make sure you check out all that scenic Lansing has to offer! Horsfalls is great for finding new loot to place in your cache. ******************* *** PLEASE NOTE:*** The Road Up to Mount Hosmer Park is Gated Off in the Winter Season.................................................................................................................................................................. From the Parking Lot by the Rest Rooms proceed to the Chain link fence along the overlook and follow it all the way left until you come to the big posted Trailhead sign.(Trailhead Waypoint) Go down that trail about 50 feet to Waypoint 2A and go Left. When you come to the next Y in the Trail (Waypoint 3A) stay left on Big Burn Trail to the Final coords.
