Cache is located in the Big River Management area
Big River covers a total area of 8319 acres. The area is composed of mainly forest land (evergreens 4374 acres, deciduous 1781 acres), wetlands (1288 acres), agricultural lands (233 acres), and other areas (gravel, residential, etc. 407 acres). Major rivers or streams in the area are Big River, Nooseneck River, Congdon River and Carr River.
Located in Southern Rhode Island, with several access points. I placed this one, due to it's proximity to the highways, and the nearby, Motel 8.
So if you stay over, and need a cache, well it is just a hop skip away. Would be great to see just how many cachers stay at the Motel 8. Swap some TB's and GC"s, plenty of room, nd also a few more caches just down the trail, happy caching.
(ALL users (hikers, bicyclists,geocachers, etc.) of State Management areas are required to wear 200 square inches of solid daylight fluorescent orange from the third Saturday in October to the last day of February and the last Thursday in April to the last day in May.
Additionally, 500 square inches of solid daylight fluorescent orange are required for all users of management areas and undeveloped state parks during all portions of shotgun deer season.)
