The Pyramid Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Situated close to the village of Scropton, this is a cache and dash. Although parking is available please take care as there are numerous fairly large potholes in the surface, also can be quite muddy in wet weather.
The cache takes its name from the pyramid roof at the top of the tower of St Pauls church in the nearby village of Scropton. The church contains 16 memorial headstones supplied by the Imperial War Graves Commission to mark the graves of airmen from overseas who died whilst serving with the RAF Training Squad based at nearby Church Broughton airfield. The cache is a small tube containing a log and pencil.
