Komatsuna birthplace
When the local peasant made to the light soup when general Tokugawa came to the hawk hunting in Komatsugawa and it presented it, it became famous, and Komatsu where the name was one name of a place by Kasai came to be called crown [shite] "[Komatsuna]" , saying that "Quite delicious dish potato" because it was praised though [komatsusai] had been said in the old times, "[Kasaina]".
"Shin-Koiwa Katori Shinto shrine" is known as [komatsuna] birthplace, and precincts have the monument.

小松菜発祥の地 新小岩香取神社
小松菜は、その昔「葛西菜」と言われていましたが、徳川将軍が小松川に鷹狩りにやってきたとき、地元の農民がすまし汁にして献上したところ「なかなか美味いものだ」とほめられたというので有名になり、その名も葛西の
一地名であった小松を冠して「小松菜」と呼ばれるようになりました。
「新小岩香取神社」は小松菜発祥の地として知られ、境内には記念碑があります。
