There is plenty of information about the church in Simon Knott’s excellent page on his Suffolk Churches website. Nearby at N52 21.805 E000 57.929 is a perennial spring, known as St Mary's Well. The water is said to possess healing qualities beneficial to eyes. The spring arises in a small copse of bushes on the edge of a field. The well has recently been tidied up with a new fence erected around it.
The cache is placed but not hidden outside the churchyard.
If anybody would like to expand the Church Micro series please do, we would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names, to avoid duplication.
