Geocache Description:

On the Second Day of Grinchmas Pofe released to me,

  • 2 Two Duckykanz
  • 1 on One
  • and Frosted (Burrr)

News Flash : THE GRINCH STOLE the DUCKS.

News Flash : THE GRINCH STOLE the DUCKS.

Did I tell you? : THE GRINCH STOLE the DUCKS.

Duckykanz has frustrated many a cacher with his creative hides. I actually think I could lure him over to the Grinch Dark Side if I tried. He is the younger version of the evil ( good in my book)Zurcher. So where was the great protector of the Cachemas season, the protector of the toys, the self proclaimed grand pooh bah... ahhh no where to be found. I stole these ducks and hid them from Santa jamM. Even the ducks are so embarassed about being stolen from right under the jamM claus nose they are blushing.

One more thing jamMy and your fellow cachers should know, I have employed the help of the the dark side Ducks to guard my prisoners. Be Careful

The Ducks are molting at Jackson Cove is right next to Kettletown. It is a State launch boat ramp as well. It is also partly owned by the Town of Oxford. If you are doing this cache during the summer( a litle slow if you are) then tell any attendants that may be present, you are hiking the Blue Trail and they will not ask for a parking fee. Off season will not be a problem, however if the gates are open and you park inside those gates be sure to be out by sunset as they do lock the gates.

THE PARK IS OPEN SUNRISE TO SUNSET

This is the Second in the series of caches “The Grinch Who Stole of CACHEMAS”. For each of the 13 days beginning Cachemas Eve a new cache is released. In addition to the winter friendly fun each cache contains a clue to the coordinates for a final prize cache where a stolen gift is waiting for you. All the caches in this series are snow friendly or try to be and mostly family oriented with terrain and difficulty no more than 3.0 mostly due to short inclines on some.
