Geocache Description:

This cache is a magnet on the guardrail, southwest end of the bridge. this bridge has sidewalks with guardrails along the bridge + is very popular with fisherman, heavy muggle activity.

This cache is just south of one of our favorite beaches. The north side of the inlet in Fort Matanzas National Park. There are parking areas just north of the bridge with access via boardwalks to beaches on the ocean + inland waterway sides. The water can be swift moving , but at low tide there are smaller tide pools. A little further north are the entrances to Fort Matanzas on the west side + the ocean on the east side of A1A. You can drive on the beach with 4-wheel drive.( this area has sugar sand which is easy to get stuck in). Stop in and see Fort Matanzas National Monument. There is a ferry to the fort run by the park. The park + ferry are free , but they accept donations. This is a great place to take children, (during the warmer months we frequently see dolphins)
