The Buford house was built in 1880 by George Buford a silver prospector.In the late 1880s George Dawson went to Casa Grande to silver mine for nine months. He was bestrode to Cleopatra George was 21 years old when we came back from Casa Grande he found Cleo in the arms of another man.
He was so beside himself he told his father goodbye and grabbed his pistol and put 4 bullets in Cleopatra and shot and killed himself. Cleo survived her gunshot wounds George had a worse fate died in the street.
To this day the Buford home is considered a haunted home with many sightings of mysterious orbs floating in and out of a six bedroom home.
