Right on the trail....
I bought my Garmin GPS60 as a close-out almost 4 years ago when I started Geocaching. It's good advice to explore a new hobby on a low budget, then "upgrade" if you decide to stick with it. Well...I never upgraded after over 1000 caches.
This GPS works well in open areas, but it becomes posessed by demons when under thick tree canopies. I've hiked with someone else using a 60CSX and they go straight to caches when I have no signal...ARGH!
The needle spins in circles, like Linda Blair's head in the "Exorcist" or it just goes completely blank (see my similar adventure trying to be STF for "Off with Their Heads" in Nisene Marks GC1XFDJ)
