Every year, our family comes together in Atlantic Beach for a
Thanksgiving celebration. No one actually lives here (or even in
North Carolina) - I think the closest travel from South Carolina.
The size of the group ebbs and flows with each year, and this year
was a BIG one: by my count, we had 23 family members all staying
under one roof.
From Tom and Jerry's to farkle to a week of feasting -
everything about this event is amazing (and delicious). I even did
a bit of caching, here and there - and introduced a couple of
generations to this fun activity.
After finding a couple, the kids were anxious to hide one - and
we thought it would be fun to hide it in the general area of the
house. Unfortunately, there was no real good hiding spots there -
so we took a walk down the beach, and found this perfect spot.
The small cache I brought fit perfect, and the kids contributed
a couple of things to its contents, and approved the hiding spot.
Please exercise stealth in hopes that this one may last awhile.
Much thanks to mommyx4 who has graciously agreed to be our local
maintainer for the cache, in the event that it requires maintenance
between visits.
If you happen to be searching for this one around Thanksgiving -
stroll on down to the Gant house (waypoint provided below) and stop
in for a drink, a game, or both. You may just end up staying...
