Geocache Description:


Pump It Up!!! I have used this pump many times to transport water to my house during various power outages. That's right out in these parts if the power goes out the POOP doesn't go down. Lot's of Snow Storms, Ice Storms, Thunder Storms and Wind Storms have caused the power to be out for Hours,even days! When you gotta go you gotta go. So I would make the journey to the Pump. Load up with water,haul it back home and flush. After all these years it still works: "Cause the Vandal's " Didn't Steal The Handle! Don't look here though!!! Ice Storm of 1998 10 days no power and Ice Storm of 2008 only 8 days of no power. Just had to add the wind storm of February 2010, 5 days with no power. Must be Global Warming.
