Un sentier, pavé sur la moitié de sa longueur, existait depuis
longtemps entre l'intersection des rues Careau et Marais et la rue
de la Roselière, il traversait un boisé claisemé puis un terrain
vague en contournant deux mares à grenouilles. Il était même
visible sur les cartes Topo Canada.
Puis, subitement, sans aucune annonce ni pancarte, de la
mini-machinerie est apparue cet été et des paysagistes se sont mis
à l'oeuvre. Voici qu'un beau parc tout neuf est à présent
disponible pour notre bon plaisir avec un sentier en Y dont les
trois quarts sont en poussière de pierre compactée et un
quart est asphalté. Il y a un petit pont et une plate-forme
d'observation donnant sur l'une des mares maintenant aménagé en
étang.
Impossible de résister à la tentation d'y placer une cache !
Venez la trouver et découvrir en même temps ce petit coin de
nature urbanisé.

There was this old trail, even paved on half its length, from
Careau street and Marais street crossing to de la Roselière street.
It first runned through a wooded area then continuing into a piece
of waste ground by-passing two frog puddles. It was even
visible on Topo Canada maps.
Then, suddenly, without any announcement nor
poster, tiny machinery appeared this summer and landscape
workers put themselves at work. Now, a brand new park is available
for us to enjoy; there is a Y shaped path of which three quarters
are made of compacted stone dust and a quarter is asphalted. There
is a small bridge and an observation deck looking onto one of the
maintaining puddles fitted out in pond.
Impossible to resist placing a cache there! Come find it and, at
the same time, discover this small urbanized natural spot.
