Geocache Description:

On the approach to the "Sleeping Giant", the first elevator in Alberta to be declared a historic resource.

The cache, and the "Sleeping Giant", are in the EID Historical Park. This park was established in 1976 by a group of residents and farmers who wanted to preserve the history of the settlers who came to this area in the early 1900's.

The museum is open from Victoria Day weekend until Labour Day, Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 5 p.m.
