Pill container cache hanging on a tree branch near the Rite Aid in Ortonville, Michigan at the corner of M-15 and Grange Hall Rd.
Ortonville certainly has grown up in the past decade or so. The site of the new Rite Aid store used to be where a little mom-n-pop auto body repair shop by the name of Futura Collision sat. It was owned by friends of my Dad. Every November we used to go deer hunting with them at their cabin near Glennie, Michigan (N 44° 32.361' / W 83° 46.473'). It was a great time that I used to look forward to immensely. They unfortunately sold both the business and the cabin about 7-10 years ago. Whether or not you remember Garrett and Ralph or Futura Collision, I do hope you enjoy this cache that I placed in memory of the simpler days out here. You will not be able to access the cache from the Rite Aid parking lot but you will want to park there. Once at the cache site muggles shouldn't be too much of a problem because of the heavy cover. Getting to the cache, however, will put you in plain sight. Be mindful of who's watching before you enter the area of the cache because you will look a little suspicious entering the area you need to go in to. I'd discourage trying to find this at night because a flashlight will draw attention to you, but risk it as you may.
