Geocache Description:

Stop by a former bed and breakfast near beautiful Dale Hollow Lake to find this cache and drop off any trackables for a comfortable stay.

The home, built in the 1920's, was once owned by the "Parrots" who also ran a small sandwich shop/country store a little further down the road on the right. The remains of the old store are still there along with the small rental cabins which are now grown over. The road at this location used to be the main road that would cross the Obey River. It has been told that the location of this cache was a popular stop for the stagecoach before it decended the hill and then crossed the river.

The cache contains a log book and some trade items. It is also a safe location to drop off any smaller sized trackables and geocoins. I often use this cache to move along trackables that I have picked up along the way. The former B&B is conveniently located off Hwy 111. The cache is hidden in the front yard not far off the road. You are welcome to pull in the driveway or even park in the parking lot. Just ignore any little "muggles"- they are mine! There is also a chocolate lab that might greet you with some barking.
