Geocache Description:

In February 2010, the Boy Scouts of America celebrated 100 years as an organization. The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

Recently the BSA has incorporated geocaching into their program since pathfinding has been a part of Scouting from its very beginning. The program is called Geoscouting.

This cache is placed in honor of the 100th anniversary of Scouting.

Thanks to ItsSkeeter, who I met through Scouting, for introducing me to geocaching.

Permission for the cache placement has been given. The container is a small watertight box with enough room for small items. Happy caching!
