A small diversion off SH 1
Glenavy is a small village on the north bank of the Waitaki River. There are a number of permanant and holiday homes.
Many of the residents are keen fisherman who chase the ellusive salmon, trout or whitebait from the mighty Waitaki River.
The Waitaki River forms the provincial boundary between Otago and Canterbury.
The cache is a 200 ml container covered in leaf matter and stones in a well kept garden interspersed with a number of old farm relics.
