Geocache Description:

A short walk from White Horse Hill car park at Mount Cook.

From the car park take the track up the Hooker Valley. After about 5 minutes walking you will come to a monument erected to the mountaineers who lost their lives in the nearby mountains. Proceed another 10 minutes to a lookout where the viewer will get great view of the lower Hooker valley, the Hooker footbridge, Lake Mueller and Mt Sefton in the distance behind. Often you will also hear the crashing sounds or see avalanches tumbling off the nearby mountains.

The cache a green 600ml plastic screw top container is hidden a short distance from and out of sight from any muggles gathered on the lookout. Bring your own pen!
