Needles, California. Population: 5,700, elev. 495', was incorporated on 10/30/1913. Needles was originally founded in 1883 as a result of the AT&SF railways expansion. It was the first city in California encountered by westward immigrants along Route 66. Needles is also where Snoopy's brother Spike, lives.
This cache has been placed with the permission of two very nice young women at the Needles Chamber of Commerce. Stop in and say hello, they would love to have some visitors. The container begins with a "rite in the rain" log book, pencil and sharpener, some critters, and the "Bible Bell Traveller" travel bug to move along.

I do take pride in all of my hides. If there are any issues with this cache or it is in need of maintenance, please do let me know. When logging your find, please do not use stickers out of consideration for others; they simply take up too much space and make log sheets difficult to fold or roll up. Please hide the container at least as well as you found it.
