PLEASE NOTE -- You should be looking for an actual physical magnetic geocache container with a log inside to be signed at this location, not just another kind of hidden item which you merely have to scan. If you didn't sign the paper log on site then you did not find the geocache and therefore should not log the find here online!
As one of my geobuddies, Nova Man, said in the write-up for a cache he placed recently, "I think all exits should have a P&G so long as it is safe to park." I totally agree. So here is one at Exit 12 on Highway 101.
It is in a spot where muggles abound early in the day and again late in the day. Throughout the day others drop by to check their mail nearby.
I apologize - it's a nano due only to the high muggle factor. Bring your own pen or pencil.
The cache itself is winter friendly, although getting to ground zero may be challenging in deep snow! In wet weather waterproof boots may be wise.
Congratulations to Nova Man on the FTF! He will be receiving a Tim Hortons card on me!
UPDATE ON APRIL 3, 2010 - it appears that somebody has tried to open the cabinet on which the cache is mounted. Please DO NOT try to open the green box. Doing so could be dangerous and is completely unnecessary - the cache is mounted OUTSIDE, not inside or under, the box. Thanks, everybody!
