Let's have a Geocaching Christmas!
12:00 to 12:30 p.m. (loosely) - Event begins with lunch at
establishment at ground zero, if you so choose. There are quite a
few geocachers in Jackson County that seem to rarely depart from
their home county borders. So I'm bringing the event to you. Let's
have lunch and introduce ourselves! Bring your geocoin collection,
swap sig items, etc.
1:00 p.m. - Blind gift exchange. Bring a cache container. Can be
filled with SWAG, only a logsheet or even an empty container. Your
choice. For those who bring a cache container (micro to gigantic,
doesn't matter) your name will be put into the hat and we will have
a drawing for the "gift" exchange.
1:30 p.m. - Travel 1/2 mile to GC21MCJ - Merry Christmas Cache.
We'll have a group photo in front of the decorated Christmas tree
then remove the decorations until next December.
Fellowship or depart for caching if you so choose. There are
plenty of caches in the area to keep you busy until dark when you
may wish to check out the Christmas lights at Cedar Lakes
nearby.
