Geocache Description:

Buster and Bitty's Cache

Photobucket Photobucket

Buster and Bitty are the co-owners of a human being named Debbie. These playful, lovable kitties are brother and sister. Buster (left) can be a bit shy at times but he will surprise you on occasion and show you some love. Bitty (right) is more adventuresome and daring and is affectionate as well.

The cache is a camoed lock and lock container placed a few feet off the Landon Nature Trail. It is stocked with a few items I have picked up in past geocaching adventures. Please make a fair trade. The coordinates were averaged 50 times on a clear day in the fall. Don't forget your pen!

From the Landon Nature Trail website:

The Landon Nature Trail is being developed and maintained by volunteers from our community. Strong community support is the foundation of the Landon Nature Trail. People of all ages and skills are giving thousands of hours to transform this rail corridor into a beautiful trail and wildlife area. The volunteers run construction equipment, mowers, paint, weld, saw, hammer, drill, dig, shovel, and many other helpful contributions. The only section being done by a public entity is the 4.5 mile section within the city limits of Topeka. The other 33.5 miles is being done by volunteers.

The Landon Nature Trail Volunteers meet regularly to review progress and plan for project. Ongoing maintenance and operational needs are addressed at meetings by volunteers. Groups, families, business, and clubs are welcome to volunteer.

The trail is open from sunrise to sunset. You can find more info at www.landontrail.org. Happy caching!
