Geocache Description:

Pleasant Walk along the beginning of public footpath near Thorpe Hall away from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre. Ideal for some fresh air at lunchtime.

Thorpe Hall at Longthorpe in the city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire is a Grade I listed building,built by Peter Mills between 1653 and 1656, for the Lord Chief Justice, Oliver St John. The house is unusual in being one of the very few mansions built during the Commonwealth period. After a period as a hospital, it is currently used as a hospice, Sue Ryder.

Why not visit the Gardens, Garden Centre and Craft shop while you are here. There is also my Thorpe Park 1 cache a short walk away

The cache is a small plastic container containing only a log book - please bring your own pen or pencil.
