Geocache Description:

Lynn Valley Trail Series - Sizes range from micros to large. A very easy walking or bicycling trail from Simcoe to Port Dover. Dog friendly area. Watch for muggles as they can appear out of nowhere! Please place cache back where you found it! Bring your pen or pencil along for most of these caches.

Chronologically this is the last of the series and I am sure it rocks!

This is a 6 stage cache just off the LVT Trail. There is a well maintained foot path here. Parking is located at either of two locations. If you come in from the Prescott St parking, follow the LVT trail until you find the entrance to this park.

The location you are at was the location of Thomas A. Ivey and Sons Greenhouses. At one point in time this business was one of Canada's largest wholesale florists and rose-grower.

Thomas A. Ivey
One of Canada’s leading florists in the early 20th century, Thomas Ivey was born in Haldimand County and moved to Brantford, where he entered the telephone business with William Alexander Graham Bell. Later he embarked in the florist business, both as a retailer and as a grower, and founded Thomas A. Ivey & Sons in Port Dover, Ontario. He died on August 14th, 1915 in a car accident.

On with the show!
This is a great spot to sit, relax and enjoy the view.

You will need to complete this to get the numbers.

A Z B Y C X ... K P L O M N
- - - - - - -- - - - - - -
1 2 3 4 5 6 ... 21 22 23 24 25 26

You will find words at all locations except one. It will be noted. To find the answer, convert each letter in the word and add them all together.
EX. one=24+26+9=59
Then divide number by 1000 = .059

At each location you visit you will see an object. There are inscriptions on each one. Each letter marked below is different location. Figure one out, input the new coords and then move on to the next location for the next set.
To find AA, use the second word addition formula above.

Next location is at:
N 42 47.649 + AA
W 080 12.615 +AA

N 42 47.627 + BB
W 080 12.542 + BB

W 080 12.510+CC

DD = First name of the wife

N 42 47.543 + DD
W 080 12.405 + DD

EE = Year on Plaque / 1000
FF = AA+BB+CC+DD+EE

FINAL COORDS

Hope you have enjoyed the LVT Series 1 and 2.
