We are pleased
to present “The NoVAGO 12 Days of Cachemas”, a cache series running
from December 25 to January 5 modeled after a familiar Christmas
song. Starting on December 25th, one new cache in this series will
be released each day, until “The 12 Days of Cachemas” song is
complete. Each cache in this series will contain clues. Collect all
clues and figure out the location of the prize cache with some very
special prizes. To date, the following NoVAGO 2009 Cachemas caches
have been published:
#1. A Micro
in an Ivy Patch GC21BPG

This series was
inspired by the CVGA and the Richmond area geocachers, who placed a
12 days of Cachemas series last year.
This cache is
the 6th in the Cachemas series of 12 caches leading to the final
cache for the series.
This cache is located off of the Cross County Trail, and right off
the Workhouse Loop in Laurel Hill Park.
The nearby park was part of the transfer of the old DC prison land
to Virginia.
The six trails near here that were recently created are
the:
- Workhouse
Loop
- Slaughterhouse
Loop
- Dairy Barn
Loop
- Pasture
Loop
- Power Station
(formerly Incinerator) Loop
- Apple
Orchard Loop
Check the top
cover of the cache to get the clue to help you find the final
cache.
